Dear Colleagues, The other night "A Midsummer Night's Dream" , the old version with James Cagney as Bottom and Mickey Rooney as Puck, was shown on Turner Classic Movies. I tried to tape it because our middle school is doing this play on a college stage with real costumes and scenery provided through a grant. Parents and students are having dinner at our school next Thursday evening and then getting on buses to the Community College to see them perform. The drama teacher was thrilled that I might lend her the copy to show her actors. But I have a new VCR I'm not really good with yet, and it didn't come out because the VCR was not on channel 4 as it should have been. So I thought I'd try to find it in a video catalog and order it as a gift to her and the school. Anyone know where I might find a copy to purchase? Thanks!
