AASL vs YALSA

Netters, I'm torn and need help.  As a new high school librarian (I was in
elementary) I want to know if I would benefit most from YALSA or AASL.  I
looked at the AASL convention info and was interested but not sure if it's
worth my time.   What does anyone think?
Another question:since I already paid for YALSA membership, it seems a waste
to get AASL membership also.  Should i switch to ALSA or will YALSA  serve
me more in high school.
This is all new so any help would be appreciated.
