Hi all-- Our principal is searching for a reading program to implement at our 9-12 high school (1,000 students). He's seriously considering AR because the seven elementaries and the middle school have it in place already. He's read something about another program called Reading to Learn, he thinks. Have any of you seen or used this? What does it involve? Does it seem successful? The recent comments I've read about AR at the high school concern me (esp. that the test questions are always the same!). . . are there any other reading strategy programs that you've found that work well? Any help/suggestions/comments appreciated!
