SEC:possible plagiarism

Hi, group,
    A teacher has requested my help in determining if a story
is an original, so I thought I'd ask if any of you well read
people were familiar with this story- a girl with a secret
place finds a diamond ring there which turns into a miniature fairy
who then grows into normal size, and becomes a friend. A 6th
grade boy has turned it in, and it just doesn't ring true as
his original work.--
