Colleagues: For the past several weeks I have had the use of about a dozen rolling chairs in my 7-12 LMC. I think they are safer on a carpeted floor than metal folding chairs (which is what I normally have). Do any of you have rolling chairs for students? Other than cost, are there any drawbacks? How well do they stand up? I'm planning a face-lift for this summer, and I'm thinking that maybe I should get some of these chairs each year, perhaps over a five year period, with replacement of chairs each year after that. I think it would help make the library more inviting, but I'm concerned that they could turn into a real headache. Thanks for your help.
