Questions about Audiovisual distribution

Hi to all LM_NET colleagues,

   I am a rather new high school library media specialist, and I have a few
questions for you.

   In my position, I am responsible for setting up sound systems,
microphones,  adapters, etc. for school-wide programs(eg. National Honor
Society graduations). I am just curious if this is the norm or the exception
in high schools across the country.

   I want to know how much audiovisual responsibility that you have in your
individual media centers. Are you in charge of this, is there a separate AV
technician, etc.?
