Our AP U.S. history teacher is looking for a fairly recent book written by a Harvard professor on finding American history in popular culture. Some specific places to find such material would be in codes on the back of highway signs (there's a whole chapter on highways, including plans for roads as landing strips in case of nuclear strikes), in dumpsters, etc. He says he can find it a Borders, but I said I'll bet this group can come up with it very fast. Any ideas? Thanks very much. Carol G.
