My teachers requested lots of videos from this company due to their policy
of sending each teacher a flier of videos for that grade. I found them
very uneven. Some were good, some were not at the grade level advertised,
some were very sloppily done. What I did was keep a record of what teacher
requested which video and when they came in, I asked that teacher to review
the video and tell me if it was useful. The company allows a 60 day return
(I think, check with them).

I like Library Video Company. They have a much larger selection and you
can collect a list of the subjects of videos teachers request and go search
the web site (libraryvideo.com). I printed out the descriptions of the
ones I found, ran those by the teachers and ordered that way. For the most
part these are cheaper, but I found with one thing and another, I sent
nearly as many back from this company too. I guess there's no magic bullet
for purchasing videos, unless the teacher knows the producer and the series.
