I'm thrilled that I have been asked to read to the students at the overnight 'Read-In' our PTO is sponsoring at our elementary school this week, however, this is my first year and I want to make a good impression so, it's important that I get just the right book! There are soooooo many titles to choose from in Lima's 'A to Zoo' and in Judy Freeman's 'More Books Kids Will Sit Still For'...that it makes it difficult to find just the right one. Can any of you out there suggest (through experience) an appropriate book for K-5 students? I think they'd really enjoy a ghost story but because there may be kindergarteners there as well, it can't be anything too scary. I'm planning to dress in my pajamas and robe and sit on my sleeping bag with the flashlight shining on me since most of the lights will be off. I think it'll really be fun! Any other ideas and suggestions would be WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME! Thank you all!
