I have a 25" wide roll laminator from USI and I LOVE it. No trouble. A
work horse.

We have had a Laminex laminator for years and it's been great. We purchased
it from Newbart and have no complaints. We've had to order thermostates
(very cheap) and we did have to send it back once, but they were great and
their service costs are very reasonable.

We just purchased our second 25" classroom laminator from USI. Our first
served for 5 years. This one seems to be as simple to use and works as well
as the other. It cost about $800.

Try Staples. or Office Depot. They have nice ones.

I've had nothing but trouble from a GBC Ultima 65. We've had the repair
fellows out several times.
It has to do with the way the mother board is constructed. It has a
mechanical memory that remembers the last setting. You can't get it to
default to factory settings and start over. A lot of times when it comes on
it thinks it's in standby.

We have a laminating machine that works great. The model number is
GBC4250. We have an account with General Binding Corporation
(1-800-477-3444). They were very helpful when I first became a Media
Specialist. They talked me through changing the laminating film the
first time. It was during pre-planning and I had a ton of laminating to
do. The company said they would send someone over to show me how to
change the laminating film if I could not understand their directions.
