Eternal gratitude is promised to those who can help me locate young adult literature with a theme similar to that of Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist. I can't tell you what is promised to anyone who can help me locate a reference that identifies "similar themes" from key words. I'm stumped with ALAN Review and the Horn Book Guide. You can't type in a phrase and they don't match themes. What reference do _you_ use after your mind is no longer serving? I'm told that the Alchemist's theme is "about following your dreams" and the teacher wants to end the year with her senior class with a book about that...but not that particular title...it's too expensive, she says. Can anyone help? all best, Roselle Roselle Weiner Library/LRC Services Coordinator American School for the Deaf 139 North Main St. West Hartford, CT 06107 860-570-2370 <tt.v> 860-570-2301 <fax> rweiner@americanschdeaf.org ===================END FORWARDED MESSAGE=================== =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
