Our library has kept hard copies of our magazine collection dating back several years. For the last two years we have been subscribing to an online periodical database. I ran a report of periodicals checked out and find that this past year no hard copies were used with the exception of National Geographics and magazines that were current. If students are getting all of their materials online, should we bother any longer storing years of hard copies. Have any of you been considering the options on this question or making any changes?
