Infotrac drops Mac Version

        I just got a notice from Gale (They bought Information Access) that
they were no longer supporting their Macintosh version due to Y2K
compliance issues. They were offering to upgrade the Mac users to web
access but that doesn't help those of us who don't have full network
access yet.

        I emailed a complaint to my representative today but I am very unhappy
with the late notice (They are no longer updating after June 1999) and
the linking it to Y2K which supposedly does not affect the Macintosh much.

        Does anyone else find this upsetting? As an 8 year subscriber, I
expected better than this.
