Input needed for panel at national meeting

I have been asked to participate in a panel discussion at the National =
Cable Television Association meeting in Chicago in June.  The topic of the =
panel is "A Conversation on Education: Priorities and Challenges."  We are =
asked to provide "a state-of-the-state of education and the priorities and =
challenges [we] face in today's schools and educations systems."  Since I =
am to be the only "in-the-trenches" educator on the panel, I would like to =
have as broad a perspective as possible.  I realize it's the end of the =
year and most of us are busy wrapping up, but if any of you have time to =
share your thoughts with me, I'd be grateful.
