Outspoken: role models from the lesbian and gay community

I am preparing to put on the shelf of our high school library,
the book OUTSPOKEN; ROLE MODELS FROM THE LESBIAN AND
AND GAY COMMUNITY, by Michael Thomas Ford,
Morrow Junior Books, c1998.  I have gathered reviews from School
Library Journal, Library Journal, and Booklist.  Because we
we spent most of a school year fighting to keep ANNIE ON MY MIND
on the shelf, I have been asked to have my ducks in a row first,
and  to gather the names of other high schools who have this book,
especially in the "thumb" area of Michigan.  I also ask if anyone has had a
anyone has had a challenge on this one.
