I am looking for information about the "hidden" meaning of Mother Goose rhymes. For example, "Ring Around the Rosy" is often mentioned as a reference to the plague. I would be particularly interested in a source that would have information about the meanings, as opposed to just what folks generally have heard. If you can help, please reply directly to me.
