Glatt Plagiarism Services, at plagiarism.com offers tutorial software and screening software to help avoid plagiarism, first by teaching what it is and how to avoid it, and then by detecting it. Have any of you used either of these products? Their list of users/endorsements is all colleges, but I am wondering if anybody is familiar with this software. I have no connection to this software or this site; I am just looking for helpful evaluative information. I have read many posts saying that plagiarism was suspected and asking for help in detecting it. If you have a suspect passage and want to check for plagiarism without using special software as above, how do you do it? Do you just pick a string of words that sounds unique and do a search on that as a phrase? Any hints would be appreciated.
