To All Thank you to everyone for responding to my question concerning the purchase of a printed set of Encyclopedias. I will summarize here since the responses were fairly uniform. The vast majority of you were in favor of purchasing a full set of encyclopedias...although I will qualify that by saying that the grade school and middle school people felt the most strongly about this issue. Opinions were focused on the need to be able to accomodate a larger group of students than could use a computers at one time; special need students might not be able to use the computers; students need to be practice the skills that are involved in using print encyclopedias. The cost of the sets was a factor in not purchasing as well as the fact that so often a couple of volumes are missing. Cheryl Quinn Librarian St. Viator H.S.
