Like many large public school districts, ours suffers from a shortage of = substitute teachers, and even when an absent library media specialist is = lucky enough to get a sub, the regular lesson plan can't be followed = because the sub has no background in technology and/or literature. I'd like to pick the brains of LM_NETTERS to find out what kinds of = "tried-and-true" back-up activities you might keep on hand for a sub who = is unable to do the regular routine. Ideally these would be library- or = literature-related activities which any substitute could monitor. Any = ideas will be appreciated, and I'll post a HIT if there are numerous = replies. Many thanks-- Bill McLoughlin, Library Media Specialist Brookside School, Worthington, Ohio BROOKM.Media@Worthington.k12.oh.us =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
