Hello everyone. I'd like some advice about noise levels in the library. I work at a K-12 school library with 1300 students. Sometimes, we have so much traffic, it almost seems like a train station in here. Does anyone else have this expereince? This morning, one of the school administrators volunteered to come in and read a story to a kindergarten class. I told her we were using Eric Carle's "From Head to Toe". At first, she was pleased with the selection. However, when I asked her for feedback after reading the story, she told me the book was inappropriate, because the children became too excited and noisy (in the library). Does anyone have any feedback on this? Thanks for your help. Rae-Anne Montague, LMS American School of Torreon Av.
