Happy Thanksgiving--a sweet deal for holiday readers

Last summer as I was looking through one of my Tips and Other Bright
Ideas, I found a suggestion (from someone somewhere sent to Linworth and
included in THE BOOK REPORT) that students and staff who sign out books
to read over holidays be offered a lollipop as a reward for reading (or
at least thinking about reading over vacation). I went to WalMart last
night and got a variety to offer the students today, since it is our
last day before the vacation. If it's yours, it's too late, but for
those of you who still have to work tomorrow, you might want to try
it--I've actually had teenagers say Thank you! :)

Rock Star, and Downsiders!
