TECH: Help setting Netscape to receive email?

I need help setting up Netscape so that the computers
in the library computer lab will send mail to me.  I
am using Eudora and placed a "email the librarian" on
my webpage.  If I type in my email address and SMPT
in the proper places in Edit/ Preferences/ Mail, students
are able to email me from the lab.  However, once you
exit Netscape and start a new session, the preferences
are not saved and you can't email from my web page.
We are using Fortres, but I don't think that it the
problem, because I disabled it and tried putting in
the settings without it running.

Can anyone help?
