I agree Karen. There is a much larger number of kids who are copying and
pasting from the web/electronic sources directly into word processors
than I'd like to admit!

...or even worse yet printing directly from the electronic encyclopedia
eliminating tell-tale headers by trimming and photocopying the pages and
turning them in to their teachers!

Another purpose of notecards, as I recall, was ease of organizing and
re-organizing your information. I think the skill is valid and valuable.
