Our school had a flood 2 & a half wks ago, and parts of the ceilings fell and asbestos fell too, and the school was cordoned off by the EPA. We were not allowed to go back in and get things, and are currently in a HS that the students are bused into every day. Supposedly we will get back in mid-January. Only part of it, not the library I think and hope, was damaged by water. Some teachers are concerned that supplies and books not damaged by water will be polluted by asbestos fumes. Does anyone have experience with this? Could you be sure to write to me personally since I have just signed off the listserve for Thanksgiving?
