Dear LM_Netters: I am on the Board of Directors of our School Board's Teachers' Centre. The cataloguing load is very heavy and so I have made myself a committee of one to find the best way to purchase cataloging. I think that there would be a problem buying MARC records in the conventional way as all of the materials at the Centre relate to teaching (of course) and so couldn't be purchased from the usual companies. Much of the material is also non-book. Would my best course of action be to purchase a program with which I could download records from the Library of Congress? Please advise, TIA, Sylvia Jacquard Sylvia Jacquard Teacher-Librarian Central Kings Rural High School Cambridge Station, N.S.
