Media Production Specialist


Dartmouth College seeks an energetic and creative video production professional
for its Instructional Services division. The Media Production Specialist will
plan and produce analog and digital video and multimedia projects for both
curricular and institutional use; work with students and faculty on projects
used in teaching and research; train and supervise student assistants and
coordinate outside equipment rentals and freelance services.


Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in
Broadcasting or Communications with at least four years of relevant experience
in all phases of video production, or the equivalent. The Media Production
Specialist must be able to: work effectively with students, faculty, and senior
administrators; provide technical training in video production and
post-production; troubleshoot equipment and system problems; initiate and
complete projects on tight deadlines; and work a varied schedule that involves
frequent evening and weekend hours. Experience with digital video and non-linear
editing is desirable. This position requires lifting heavy equipment.


Salary range: $31,200-35,100
