poster maker recommendations

We have a poster maker in our district that is several years old  It is a
Varitronics poster printer plus.  Can anyone recommed a newer machine that
you like or are they the only makers of this kind of product?  Ours is
heavily used but it not behaving very well these days!!~  Thanks, Michele
