TECH: Target - Ask Jeeves URL citations

I know this has been discussed before and I tried to access the
archives, but got a message that they were unavailable. Does anyone
remember how to write an URL without all the gibberish Ask Jeeves adds
to it? I have a student right now who needs to know - thanks!
