(It) might be worth scouring latest edition of Writer's Market (Writers
Digest Press) -- thousands of listings. That plus update and new listings
in Writer's Digest magazine might be helpful.

A wonderful resource for you to purchase would be the market Guide for Young
Writers by Kathy Henderson. It is modeled after the Writer's Market books,
and not only lists places to get published, but it really takes kids through
the steps of getting their work published. It also lists tons of writing
contests.
Also, see if you can get your hands on Nancie Atwell's 2nd edition of In the
Middle. I'm sure one of her exhaustive appendices has opportunities to
publish student work.

is commentary. Hillel.
