Hi All! I have three third grade teachers working on a family unit and studying continents in Soc.St.. They are interested in finding schools on any continents other than North America to send a survey about families, as well as setting up a dialogue for future studies. If there are any international media specialists out there who would be willing to coordiate or help us set up contact with their equivalent of third graders that would be wonderful! Each teacher has access to e-mail in their room, so it would make correspondence easier if the schools responding have ready access as well. I know one teacher was burned in the past when they received little-to-no response in an early days of e-mail attempt (1994?). TIA for anybody willing or anybody with other suggestions for setting up something like this. I've never attempted anything like this!
