kindergarten in library

I'm district coordinator, and I have a primary library run by a librarian aide.  I 
also have a new principal at the primary school (grades K-2).  She wants more 
library usage.  That is marvelous, and I love her attitude, but I'm having trouble 
getting a handle on her scheduling kindergarten classes into the library three 
times a week.
    Those of you who schedule kindergarten classes into the library, please help 
me.  The TEACHERS don't want the kids to check out books until Christmas, so that 
leaves read-a-story, read-a-story, read-a-story.
    Any advice?
