I have been reading LM_NET for most of the last year, since I began my new career as a high school librarian after 15 years in public libraries. I have learned a lot from all of the ideas and opinions posted to the listserv. I have responded to a few requests directly, but have not posted to the list -- or not more than once or twice. I do wonder how you all keep up with LM_NET. I get it in digest form, but even so find I have to use the set no mail option every so often or I get overwhelmed. I was recently appointed to the YALSA Professional Development committee. If any of you secondary school librarians have ideas for programs you'd be interested in, esp. dealing with YA literature, please let me know. Again, thanks to everyone who takes the time to contribute to LM_NET. And to Peter for keeping it running :) Happy unlurking day! Amy -- Amy A. Healey, M.S.L.S.
