Elbert's Bad Word _ by Audry Wood
        Very funny.  About a boy who uses a bad word when he hurts his foot and
his mother takes him to wash his mouth out with soap.  Afterword he is
taken to the gardener, who also happens to know a little bit of magic, to
help him come up with a way of not using any bad word.  The gardener bakes
this little muffin with all kinds of "goodness" in it.  Later when Elbert
gets hurt again - the whole crowd hold their breath until Elbert lets out a
load of innocent words that help make him feel better!
        After reading this story - all the students want to know what word Elbert
used!
