Our teachers (K-5 elem) are in their second full year of using the AR program. There is still controversy as to what should be expected of students. How have other schools handled this issue? Are all students expected to read and test over the AR books? Do your students have monthly or quarterly goals? Who sets the goals, students or teachers? What do the students get who meet their goals, grades, tokens, certificates, or other things? I would be interested in hearing from schools who feel this program is a succes as well as those who don't/didn't care for it. Thanks!
