Accelerated R. vs. Scholastic's Reading Counts

Our school plans to purchase either Accelerated Reading or Scholastic's new
Reading Counts program.  I need information from people who are familiar
with both programs who can give me pros and cons of the two programs.  Is
there any way to quickly compare the two?
