Peg and all,

I know your request was directed to high school, but
you might be interested in the following.

I'm a first year media specialist in an elementary
school.  Our students wore ID
badges last year and will again this year.  The badges
should be in soon as
photos were taken a few weeks ago.  The badge includes
the student's picture,
name and barcoded student number.

Some of them still have their badges from last year
and wear them.  It makes
checkout time so much easier and quicker when a
student has their badge as I can
scan the badge for the ID number.  I can't wait for
the new badges!

The high schools in my county don't use ID badges this
year, in fact, I think we
are the only school doing this in our county.  Next
year I would be surprised if
others (elementary, middle and high) don't use them.
