Accelerated Reader and Masters

Hello all you experts.

I am in the processing of deciding on a topic for my project for a
course-based masters.  I was thinking about exploring programs like
Accelerated Reader.  I would like to know if you think this would be
worthwhile.  I really want to do something library related and incorporating
technology.  Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
