HIT: WOODEN CARD CATALOGS

Thanks for all the responses concerning a fair price to ask when selling a
card catalog.

Suggestions of how to use a catalog at schools:
        science teachers for rock collections, slides
        art teachers for supplies
        storeage for bulbs
        cassette tapes
Suggestions on how to use a catalog at home:
        TV stand
        end tables, night table
        coffee table -- have top made for second section, cover with glass
        on older desks -- one section on top for extra space
Another suggestion was to offer to a local historical society.

Prices suggested LM_NET members:
        $1200 -- antique store in SC
        $200 -- TX
        $100 for 30 drawer -- AR
        $50 15 years ago -- NYC
        $1 to $10 -- IA  ("gave them away...haul at their own expense")
