Seeing the hit on biography - B or 920s - has prompted me to ask if anyone else does what I do and that is separate out the autobiography from the biography. It seems to me that much autobiography is literature rather than purely informational. Prime examples are Maya Angelou's I know why the caged bird sings and Laurie Lee's Cider with Rosie. Until recently I had autobiography in with the fiction. Now I have it on the shelf above the biography section, but with a separate label. What do others think, and do?
