Dear Group, Two years ago our junior high held a Renaissance Fair that involved the entire student body. We are now in the process of planning a Civil War project that will again involve all our students and teachers. We're looking for meaningful learning activities and are trying to decide how to structure and organize the project. Have any of you been involved in a school wide activity of this type? I would be especially interested in any ideas regarding Civil War activities, experts in the field, reenactments, etc. We will be asking our local education foundation for grant money, so I also need suggestions for some good Civil War resource titles - print and video. I saved the great Civil War websites and software hits I found on the list. If you have any suggestions, please send them to my e-mail address. I'd appreciate any advice or help!
