These are the two hits which I received for my original request about my library project.... Instead of a play, how about Reader's Theater presentation (less work) or a debate on why these books are considered classics? What other books would they add to the list and why? If you have a group of students read the same book, they could put the book on trial and try to defend it as a classic. The only thing I would say is to make the book report assignment shorter. That's a lot of writing for an activity that should be fun. When I post student book reviews on the web, I only ask for one to two paragraphs. Briefly summarize the plot and give a few reaction Once again, thank you.
