Hit: Books written by teens

Here is a list of the authors that wrote their first book when they were
teens.  I included their age at the time of writing.

Atwater-Rhodes, Amelia.  'In the forests of the night'.  13 yrs.
Hinton, S. E.  'The outsiders'.  17yrs.
Korman, Gordon.  'This can't be happening at MacDonald Hall'.  7th
gr.(13yrs.)
Toole, John Kennedy.  'Neon Bible'.  16 yrs.


These authors/titles were also suggested, but I could not find information
supporting their age when the book was written or it was written while they
were in college:
Block, Francesca Lia.  'Weetzie Bat'.
Forshay-Lunsford, Cin.  'Walk through cold fire'.
Hewitt, Lori. 'Coming of Age'.
Nolan, Christopher.  'Under the eye of the clock'.

Also mentioned was the Dell(Delacorte) winners for First Young Adult novel.
And the play collections, Meeting the Winter Bike Rider etc. are winners of
the Young Playwrights' Festival.
