I was questioned on the pronunciation on one of the characters that I have
on my Harry Potter Website Lord Voldemort

I stated that his name is pronounced with a silent "t" at the end
..VOLE-de-more


After talking to Bloomsbury, ( J K  Rowling's English publisher) they concur.

J K ROWLING says Lord Voldemort is pronounced VOLE-de-more ...with a silent
"t"

Morte = French for death.
