Greetings! A wonderful teacher at my school wants to have her students do research for a mock trial, using the resources of our media center, the Internet specifically. The trial she has chosen for her 6th grade D.E.L.V.E. (Discover, Explore, Link, ...) students is one that involves a locker search in a school, i.e. the civil rights of students. Can you suggest where students might begin research on the web in preparation for arguing the case? Have you done a similar project? What were the most helpful resources? Thank you for your suggestions!
