HI ~ I thought I would just ask ~ Are URL's public domain? By this I mean, can anyone ie: 'Internet Yellow Pages' or '100 Best Websites for Kids' make a list of web sites, publish the URLs and sell the book/CD/magazine to the public, without consent of the registered owner of the URL? I know it is done with printed material titles ie: Books, CDs/ Magazines, Software, etc. Do URLs fall into the same category as Titles? Does anyone know the legal answer?
