The following is a posting for 2 half-time Library Media Teacher positions in the Burlingame, CA Elementary School District. The positions could be combined into a 1.0 FTE position. A benefit package is available for all employees. •Appropriate CA credential required or intent to work towards such. (CA Teaching Credential required. Emergency library credential accepted for applicants enrolling in library program. MLIS candidates must enroll in teaching program.) CRITERIA: • To plan, direct and administer the school library media center program within the scope of the District’s adopted philosophy • Coordinate media center activities with the school instructional program through classroom visitations, discussion with teachers and students • Provide inservice to teachers and media center staff in the selection of materials • Other related duties.
