GEN: More on Chicken's Memorial book

Here are a couple more pieces of information which may help to light a bulb
over someone's head:
                Someone has offered to donate a book in Chicken's memory.  I
would also like to purchase at least one additional book with my budget.
                Chicken and his wife have a beautiful, mixed-race daughter
who just turned three.  They had a sweet father-daughter relationship which
we were able to witness every day, since he brought her to our on-site
daycare.  She is still attending.
                Many of the students who will be reading these books come
from tough and/or troubled backgrounds.

Thanks again!  I've already gotten several neat ideas!

Our school district, USD 457, Garden City, Kansas, is looking for a new
Automation
System for the Library.  We would like to visit some sites with IBM Site
License.
We have 18 sites to be networked and would appreciate any input you may have.
We are currently using Gaylord Galaxy and would like to look at Probe, (or is is
Prose-The new Gaylord Galaxy-, Alexandra, Sagebrush-which is Athena and
Winnebago-Follett-SIRS-
All the sales reps. have a good product, and all look good.  But we would like
to see it in action and talk to people that have worked with the system.  We
would
especially like to visit libraries in Kansas, Colorado, Missouri, Nebraska and
Oklahoma.
