IASL 2000 - Sweden

Greetings,

I would like to invite you to attend the 29th Annual IASL Conference and
Exhibition August 6-10, 2000 in Malmo, Sweden (just across the water from
Copenhagen, Denmark).  IASL is the International Association of School
Librarianship and maintains members in over 80 countries.

The conference website is located at http://www.pedc.se/iasl/  Program and
Registration Form are available at the website!  The Organizing Committee
in Sweden has been working diligently over the past year to develop a
dynamic learning experience for school library media professionals.
Delegates at the conference will have opportunity to attend seminars,
workshops, research sessions, poster sessions, and keynote addresses
presented by professionals from 18 countries, with representation from
every continent.

There will also be a variety of other activities during the conference,
including traditional Swedish food, school tours, tours of the area,
exhibits, and other library tours.
