target - drama in elementary

Today, I was approached by a first year teacher who was hired as a
drama/speech teacher for our elementary school.  NO one seems to know what
such a curriculum might entail, especially the new hiree who thought she was
being hired as a remedial speech teacher!
Does anyone have a drama teacher in place in their elementary school who
might know of a curriculum that might already exist?  Our fourth and fifth
graders are going to eat her alive if we don't get something in place by our
start date of Aug. 14th.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
