You can do a lot in teaching how to use MSWord with a weekly spelling list.
Students type their list, they can learn how to center, left justify, right
justify, how to change font sizes and styles.  You can also teach the spell
check feature if they type the words incorrectly. The possibilities are
endless.  Kids in our school seem to like to type their spelling words. It
gives them another way to study the list.

Calling on the collective minds (I have searched and used what I could of
the archives), my second and third grade teachers will be using MSWord with
their students in the classroom, and I'm helping them get prepared to do so.
Has anyone developed lesson plans or tools to do so that they would be
willing to share? I've already begun working on my own, but would appreciate
anything or any advice you are willing to share as time is of the essence.
